"Sabers' Beads"


(2014 Faulkner) -- diploid
Height 22"---with 4-way branching and 18 buds 5" flower is wine colored with medium whie eye diffused at the edge of the eye. Stephen Saber was the first to identify white spots along the moons surface at certain times during an eclipse. Under intense scrutiny these appeared as white pearls along the edge of the moon. The term "Saber's Beads" is still recognized today.
